    Blame

When my sister comes to visit from out of town, she likes to get drunk at my house and then blames it on me and my husband that we are bad influences on her, it was sooooo very nice to say you can't blame me this time!! Did she get drunk, I was embarresd for her, it was nice not to join in with her.

    Blame

    Twosox,
When I read this I couldn't help but crack up! Let me tell you a little story about blame- I was married to a man who was a hard core addict, and his mom used to tell me it was because of me! So, I explained to her that if I divorced him he should clean up his act right? RRRRIIIIIIIIGHHTTT!!
Never Happened. Ten years later he's still in the same pit.(I should Facebook her) HA HA!
You get the point though. Maybe she'll get it one day!(your sister & his mom)

      Blame

      Twosox,
Assuming you didn't hold a gun to her head while she got drunk, she has nobody to blame but herself. Be proud of yourself for not joining in, you were strong...good job!

Way to go. In the end we are always responsible for our own actions!

          Blame

Blame is a classic sign of addiction, and so often we will say "If only this, if only that" when really it's only ourselves that hold the glass to our lips and partake.

Right now, even though I've had urges, if someone held a glass and poured drink into me I'd try my damndest to spit it back.
