I'm on day 15 AL free, had to make quite a few changes, mainly in my way of thinking, and keeping myself busy in the things I enjoy. Stick with us, and we will all travel this road together.

I feel for you and understand a lot of what you are experiencing.
There is a section here for people interested in medical treatment of alcohol dependence. You may want to check it out. I don't know if antabuse is available online but several of the others are. I have had complete success for almost 8 months on Baclofen. Others are using naltrexone, topmax, and campral with varying success. I feel the risk of drug treatment is miniscule compared to the risk of continued alcohol abuse.

I watched an amazing video called "Rain In My Heart" which has 10 segments of about ten minutes each. If you need impetus to stop drinking, I encourage you to watch it (You will find the thread if you explore the Our Community section).
