I'm Back. SO much has changed.

I'm going to have to post a story sometime, but for now I just want to say I'm back. My husband is in jail right now for physically abusing me. I had become complacent about my alcohol use (I had cut down some since I used to come here & was doing OK), but my new husband is a horrendeous alcoholic. For us to stay together he has to be totally sober. I don't believe he will ever be able to drink or use opiates or benzos moderately. I, therefore, am making the choice to be totally sober too. I need to get started ASAP and I want to be clean by the time he's out.

Medium sized story short: I'll be hanging around here a LOT more.

Welcome back Swan:welcome:. Like Lav says this is a very good time to cut out the booze and with a sober head decide what you do want when your husband gets out. Situations seem much clearer and manageable without alcohol. Visit around all the threads and post wherever you feel comfortable? Looking forward to hearing your story.

Welcome back Swan. :welcome: Definitely sounds like a situation better handled with a clear head. I second the motion for a plan!
