    ODAT Tuesday September 14

    Good morning everyone.

    I'm feeling much better today, but now family are all home ill! Have been busy with taking care of everyone, work and errands so far this morning. Will need a good rest once evening hits I'm sure. Good reason for me to make the choice today to not drink. Hope everyone reaches their goals for today.

    I am only on day 3 AF but I would like to join this thread. I have a feeling I am going to be taking it ODAT time for a l o n g time.

    Today my goal is to make a list of things that I would like to accomplish sober. (Things around the house, catching up on correspondence, etc.) Things I have been putting off for a long time because I have not been in the right state of mind to address them. And then I will cross one thing off that list this evening. Sounds so easy right now. Hope it feels easy later.

      Hi Fancy, thought I might join this thread also! I am currently 16 AF It is really late at the moment actually. 3.20 am and I can not sleep no matter what I do. I think I'll try again soon. Anyway just wanted to say Hope your AF day went well! Keep posting!

        Evenng everyone its day 19 for me and almost 8pm. Just going to have my dinner soon its a bit later than usual but i was most of the day in the city and just got home at 6. Wasn't hungry then but am now. Have a good evening. :television::choc:

          Hi Everyone

          Well done to everyone who's stayed AF . Hi Fancy C. You poor thing having sick people to look after. My kiddies were both off school all last week with flu. Was challenging! Good luck hon!
          Angel hope you sleep better tonight. I hate that waking up in the middle of night and not being able to sleep.

          Anyway can someone please tell me what ODAT means because I keep seeing it and no idea. Sure its really obvious.

            Hi all - Ember Lola ODAY means One day at a time. Yes all the different acronyms- there needs to be a syllabus!
            I slipped and had 4 glasses of wine last eve - I was very tired and very stressed about work and let that be my excuse. Not today, I'm doing today as AF (alcohol free), ONDAT - so important for me to remember and stay in the moment!
            Hope Fancy C is okay.
