    Drinking Dreams..

...or should I say nightmares. Wow, when they strike I wake up thankful it was a dream.. Do you have many? I have had a few the past 20 days and one last night. I was visiting someone and accepted a glass of wine, it felt wonderful and awful at the same time holding that glass - these are my feelings in my dream -. I even remember my dreamself thinking "now, only one" HAHAHAHAH what's that, one bottle maybe.

I woke up relieved that it was a dream and am amazed at powerful our minds and this addiction is. I think I am a little concerned as there is a big festival in our area the next few weeks and we are attending some functions the name of this festival " Grape & Wine"

    Keeping strong,
    Peace

    Drinking Dreams..

Funny you should post this, but I had one last night...very vivid and very real and in the dream I knew what I was doing was wrong but someone was forcing me...(not sure who)

It takes a few mins to realise that it is only a dream when I wake...I started St John's Wort a few weks ago and since then, my dreams have been very vivid!

I was a lesbian last week!

      Drinking Dreams..

Peace it's been a long time since I had one, but it's "normal" (or maybe a better word is "common" :H). They can be so freaky. This too shall pass! (well, maybe it will pass. not for oney????)

Melatonin gives me weird dreams. Valerian root works much better as a sleep aid in my system. FWIW - someone here told me about it "back when" and it was such a blessing.

I am only on day 6 AF but I had a very similar dream the other night and felt just the same way. Yes, it is crazy how deep these feelings seated in our minds.

We also have a wine/grape festival in our town this weekend! I am planning on going during the day with my little ones so that I can still experience the fun of the event, but not be tempted by the wine. Good luck to you! I'm sure there are some other non-alcoholic treats that you can enjoy instead of the poison wine. : )

I had one last week. In the dream I was trying to hide the bottle from people. I kept returning to it to take swigs also. When I woke up I felt sooo horrible and guilty for a few seconds, then so relieved it was a dream.

These type of dreams are the "beast" refusing to die...since we ignore it consiously, I think it starts attacking the subconscious.

I dont know about anyone else, but I'd like to hear more about Oney's dream. LOL

                LOL Oney...
I'm worried that you had to concentrate so hard over that choice. hehe

Maybe Hairy Boobs is the answer.

                  :H:H:H Nice one K9!
I had a coupla drinking dreams a while ago, the funny thing is that in one of them I could SMELL gin and tonic - literally. I didn't even like g&t all that much back in the day ( don't get me wrong I'd have drunk meths off a scabby leg if that's all there was).
My counsellor reckons it's a really good sign to dream - about anything. Having said that I'm not sure if its good for depression or alcoholism, anyway it's good for something so don't worry.
                  Now about you Oney...............

Very disturbing. The dream is vivid. I'm in a wooded area by a lake. There is a statue of a naked woman (I think it's carved). Hyenas. Yes, lots of hyenas. Then a metal statue. More breasts. I'm in a land I don't recognize. I do recognize people though. Bridget Jones is spraying my body with a chemical defoliant. Mr. G is singing me a tune. Oh God. I see his lips move but I can't hear what he's saying. There is another woman. She has a very large head. She could be a frog, or an alien gray. Suddenly it all stops....I wake up shower, go to work, and pray for the dream to....

To see breasts in your dream, symbolize primal nourishment and your need to be nursed and care for. The breasts represent motherhood, nurturance, and infantile dependency. Alternatively, breasts indicate sexual arousal and raw energy.

                        there you go Techie.
