Pleased with me.
Just had to share that I'm feeling very proud of myself for making it through long drawn out phone call with family member about family member without necking a bottle of wine to drown out the " Please grow up and sort this out yourself" irritation. 2 cups of tea and large coffee later.Tags: None

My former therapist calls them sh*t babies. Hug them, you get sh*t on you. Push them away, sh*t on both hands. Slap them, sh*t goes flying all over the place. My aunt once called on behalf of my brother, who told her to tell me my mother would kill herself if I didn't take care of her. I had to jot down a little graph just to keep it all straight.
But you didn't use it as an excuse to drink, Mojo (as I recall, I sure did). I'm pleased with you, too!:wd:AF since July 15, 2010. :applouse:

Nice job, Mojo! I, personally, do not have alot of drama in my family but have friends with lots of it! I know phone calls like that drive them crazy and it's a huge trigger for popping a beer or pouring another drink to 'settle their nerves' trying to deal with it.
Well done - Congratulations!John

That's really made me laugh. Thanks guys. It's really good to get a response and support for these outwardly small things.https://www.mywayout.org/community/im...milies/hug.gif
