Don't be lonely - let's see that mood indicator change. We're off to day three together - and you on GMT are way ahead of me on EST!

Funny, I woke up with a bit of a headache today, and automatically thought, ah yes, that's the alcohol, then had to remind myself I didn't have any!!:H

Be happy, gettinghappy! All is well.

        Day One

Thank you so much DancingGirl! I do feel better today. 3 is a charm apparently! My son is playing college basketball and I couldn't go to his game yesterday, how awful! But you know what? Today he had a second one and I was so proud. I hope they will be proud of me again and not afraid of what I will be like at their functions! How was your day? Good I hope, It's great talking to you. It's going to be a week before we know it!! Good night:flower:

          Day One

Wow, alot has changed in just two weeks. Life is already so different. Thank God I found this site. It has really changed the way I feel. I don't feel like the only one on earth like this. It's alway been just me within my family and friends that can't handle alcohol and it's been a constant fight in my head to get normal and stay that way. I feel stronger now and I really really want to be free of alcohol once and for all. Thankyou everyone!

                Day One

Just string 'em out. One day it will seem so hard but just meditate on what it is you want. Then those days will turn into weeks and before you know it you won't know why you didn't do it sooner. Welcome:welcome::welcome:and a great job deciding to go AF. You will find plenty of help and support here if you read and post. Best of luck and I hope you take advantage of all the resources here. One of my favorites which led me to write a plan on how to quit was the https://www.mywayout.org/community/f1...box-27556.html. Check it out. Best of luck and looking forward to hearing how you're doing. :welcome:
