      Sober NOvember Challenge

Hi everyone! Here's to a sober NOvember

First and foremost - Congratulations Choice!!!! So happy for you girlie :l Engaged, sober and nicotine free - what a few months this has been for you!!! It's brilliant :l

Hi to all, both the crowd from October and newcomers joining us. I have to say, I'm with Choice on loving being able to tell people I'm sober now - no big deal, but i'm not terrified of it anymore. I just say I don't drink and that's that. Went for a big walk on some hills near the sea this morning in the rain, and I didn't feel like dying like I usually do at the top (or even half way!). I have a long way to go, but I am determined to get fit.

      I hope everyone's having a good day x

I had a terrible October as well. Actually a terrible couple of months - was on crutches since May and had foot surgery so I was very depressed. Wine didn't hep, but it certainly didn't stop me. Argh. Got off crutches finally, so it is ALOT easier to go buy wine now. Bad news for me though Looking forward to a sober November. I will really try this time. Sick and tired of being sick and tired!! Good luck to us all!

Limers, good job on handling your disappointment! It is a blow when you work hard at something and don't do as well as expected - I had a few assignments during my course that I was really disappointed with the results, and usually had a good ol' rant about the "stupid" lecturer and then moved on Most important thing is that you are dealing with it AF - the only way to deal with a problem or a feeling is to go through it, there's no real way around it, so they say. Fair play x
