Hi Rob and :colorwelcome: This site is amazing and in a few short months I've found so much help and support and made wonderful friends. If only I had found it sooner...if only there was something like this when I was 28. There is a vast amount of information to be found on the site and untold wisdom from everyone. Keep posting and settling in and you'll be right at home in no time.

It was the symptoms you describe that kept me caving in, but after a few days where the anxiety was so bad I had to keep reminding myself to breathe and then just regular anxiety and panic attacks for a few weeks, I came out the other side. I'm feeling great now. It does pass but you might just have to white knuckle it.
I'm on 40mg Lexapro daily and I find they are a very good antidepresant. Please do take them, if only for six months. It takes a few weeks for them to kick in and start working on the brain chemistry, so give them time and don't become discouraged and feel like they're not working.
