New here and grateful
I just joined today, altho I have been lurking for about a month. I am AF for 3 weeks{oct. 14th} and I am optimistic now for my future. I decided I had enough and was having physical problems such as pain in my side and lower back. Figured my liver and or pancreas was trying to tell me something. Drank for 30 plus years and was up to 1 and a half 750 ml. bottles of wine a night, every night for about the last year. Found this site and have spent many hours here the last month and can relate to it all. I got the L glut and alot of vitamins and believe its helping. I now am sleeping better than I can ever remember, altho the first week I had insomnia bad. I am using melatonin when I need it , but not often lately. I want to thank everyone on this site for inspiring me to continue this new journey.:thanks:AF since 10/14/2010...Tags: None

Hi again Misty - saw you on a different post but wanted to formally welcome you under this thread that you personally posted.
It sounds like you're already off to a good start with having read a lot of what's on the site. The L-Glut has helped me also.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I just got home from a 9 hour work shift and Im beat, but wanted to check in before sleep.I gotta be at work in the am early. We had a wedding reception tonite for 200 people at the country club i work for, and it was open bar all nite. Didnt bother me to be around the drinking as Ive been in the business all my life. Just glad Im not waking up with a hangover tommorow. My bodys tired but my mind isnt, so i might take a melatonin since I have to be up at 6 am and its almost 1 am now..Wait..its time to set back the clock..extra hour of sleep..and I need it!!! Good nite all and I will check in after work tomorow. So glad I found this place and all you great people.AF since 10/14/2010...
