Hi Jenni and all, I am finishing my first day sober after series of drinking days. I wish you the best and hopefully we can do this together! Choochie, thanks very much for the posts and advice. I'm going to follow exactly what you did to get through those first few weeks and keep AA on the back burner as well. I'm hoping posting here might take the place of that. I hope to be here at the end of December ringing in the New Year with 30 days plus of sobriety working for me!:new:

Day One
Hey Teddy, I am very thankful to still be with him, he is wonderful and patient and kind. However even if I wanted to seperate he wouldn't leave! Like I said, when he says no he means it, on the flip side when he say yes he means it to. I have tried, when angry, to leave but he just say "you go I'll be right here when you get back" so I'll say "fine I'll move out" and he say " cool when are we moving". It drives me crazy but he loves me and we really are till death do us part. I just want to stop the drinking so that when we part won't come to fast you know.
Stay strong you can do it Teddy, but like you said to me. . .Do it for you =)You always succeed if you never stop trying.
Everyday we choose the direction of change.
