No such thing as a "loser" when you are continuing to keep trying. And no such thing as being any kind of a "disappointment" to people here. The important thing is how you feel about yourself. And if you are very disappointed in yourself, you have the capacity, as you have just shown yourself these past five days, to get back on the horse and work, one day at a time, towards becoming the self-respecting person you know you are underneath the alcohol.
Someone told me recently that when we are in this state of great discomfort and agony, due to the fact that we are struggling to achieve something difficult, even though the discomfort and agony feel "awful," it is actually a time to celebrate because it means that we are getting ready to do something great. (in contrast to if you had gotten up this morning with NO feelings of remorse or questioning your behavior....that type of mindset would mean that you have no plans to change anything).
So as everyone else has said, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back on the Sober Pony! We are all pulling for you :l
