Good morning, I was just thinking the same thing! I'm on day 7 and things are really starting to clear up mentally. Yesterday felt like walking out of a fog bank into sunlight.

It's almost like I wake up and expect to be hungover.... The thrill of not is fantastic! This is where most people can't relate - people on this board know exactly what we are talking about!

Its snowing! We get so excited in Texas when it snows! It happens maybe once a year except last year it snowed alot for Texas last year. I'm making beef stew and my daughter said she is going to make cookies. . .that is a wow for this house, she is 14 and forgot how to talk to normal people about 6 months ago. Anyway, I will attempt the gym today if the snow isn't to much.

How was everyones sunday? mine was tiring! Well almost bed time and tomorrow up early because there will be some crazies on the road I'm sure! Nice day though see everyone tomorrow.

I had a great afternoon/evening last night -- went for a long walk with my husband and then to a late Mass and then dinner and a movie. Really nice and so much nicer as I stayed awake for the whole movie, sober.

Jenny, sounds like a great day! Snow, beef stew and cookies! I'm sure people will be panicking in the snow today! I was stuck on the runway in Houston a year or two ago for 5 hours due to snow -- just changing planes on my way to somewhere else!! I think they said they had one de-icer or something...!!

I've got a really busy week at work with out of town "Executives" flying in from Europe who I have to entertain all week. ARgh....but at least I'm the designated driver...which means no drinks and easy excuse not to!

Good morning all! today is day 21 so tomorrow when I wake up I'll have 3 weeks! I've been thinking of just saying 2011 will be completely sober. If I want to drink at midnight next year maybe I will but I don't plan on making that decision until then! The prospect of not drinking for a year does not even scare me right now so that is great! Then when next year comes I will decide next year!

ML my boss is out until Friday so looks like me and you will have opisite weeks! Hopefully my will be very laid back. . .provided I make it to work today! Have a great AF day all!

yeah well, i thought Ireland was green all the time too! LOL I would love to go one day! Being a "Mc" and all well really a "Mac" but when we came to the states it changed! Are there really no snakes?

I'm glad I got through the weekend but I want it back! I like sleeping in! This is the first full 5 day week I have worked since the 2nd week in December so 3 weeks, wow lazy me!

Good job us making it through another sober weekend!

All good! Man I still have these sugar cravings from no AL (and I don't even like sugar that much). Just inhaled a candy bar!. Glad Monday is almost over.... watch the Nat. Championship game and off to bed.
