No pooping or throwing up on the sleigh allowed!!! I think nasty viruses are all over the place right now, been coughing my brains out for over a week now. Remember, if your sick, drinking will make it much worse!!!

Day 2 for Overit.... Happy Sober Sleigh riding today!!!!
I LOVE MY SEROTONIN AND BOOZE SCREWS IT UP!!!!!

Everybody sounds in good form and there is quite a buzz about this thread, the last few sober months have been really good and motivational for quite a few of us but I think this one definitely has a bit extra. Well good day for me with NO cravings I?ve kept busy again and planned my day to both keep busy and to keep my blood sugar level and I think it has worked. I?ve also made sure that I?ve been drinking lemon water throughout the day along with green tea (actual tealeaves and not the shavings from the floor in the teabags).

I can?t keep up with everyone but Oney I just love the new avatar !! and Choochie huge congratulations on 60 days you should be very proud of yourself girl. I?m off to check around and see how everyone else is doing and do some cooking as I have some friends over for lunch tomorrow.

                    Dewdrop :h
Enjoy today - there will be no other one quite like it....

Everyone is sounding so good heading into the weekend. Love how the sleigh is filling up. My two girls and their BF's are coming home today for the weekend. No wine will even be thought of and we'll have a lot of fun. My MIL is having her 80th birthday party today. She is such a sweetie. There will be no al at all at this party - none of them drink ever!!!

Anyhoo have a great time on our sober sleigh today everyone - I'm keeping that in mind.

Crikey I've been trying to keep up with everyone on this thread and been writing all our names on the back of an envelope. Looks like I'm going to need a bigger envelope.

Sarah, don't think I said thank you for the smashing name for this month and it certainly is one of the hardest months to navigate in the early days. But it can be done.

I can promise you hand on heart that an AF Christmas is brilliant, funny, enjoyable and one that you'll look back on for many months if not years with laughter and joy.

I'm going to have a quick read back now.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

                            Good evening sleigh!

Choochie, congratulations!!! Wow, you made me motivated to get to my own 60 days with that post! And to hear you feel better than ever makes me want to succeed at this more than ever.

I felt so great this morning for the first time -- and the cravings were actually less today than they were yesterday. Today is day 7 -- so we'll see! Maybe if I stick with it for 60 days like Choochie, I'll get an arse like Oney! I can dream, can't I???

Even my cats are in the Christmas spirit!:wd: They will be needing boots at least, it is COLD here! Still below zero. Getting kind of used to it though. Good for you Choochie, 60 days is really great! Day 35 for me. It's going pretty well, not too many temptations lately. Just sweets. You know you really do feel hungover in the morning if you eat to much sugar. Headache, dry mouth. yeesh! I will soon get tired of that to I'm sure. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Santa's Sleigh is the best!!! Good night all:bedtime:

Loving all the xmas avatars... so I thought I would go with the xmas body parts too!! I want these pins for xmas.

Last night went well. Not many people were drinking at all ~ it must have been the heat ~ so it took the pressure off me.

Tonight is another drinking do, a big bush dance gig for a friends birthday. Hubby is staying home with the kids. I'm driving. I'm planning to go early and leave early. With the plan that by the time I leave, the ones that are staying on for the night will be too fired up to even notice my exit.

Congrats Choccie on 60 days, I can't wait to join the 60 day gang. I have a little issue though... my friend who has been dieting for the last 3 months and lost a lot of weight (& hasn't been drinking either) has recently said that she can't wait to hang out with me on New Years and have a couple of wines and relax. I don't want to let her down and would love to enjoy this moment with her... but I don't want to let myself down. Can you guys help me find a delicate way to manage this?
