1001 reasons to drink or not to drink

Well, I hear you on 1001 reasons to drink when your in that early decision making process of what your going to do about your circumstances. It drove me crazy! I got so sick and tired of thinking about NOT drinking. How was I going to handle/cope?? with all of the events and plans I'd made and was looking forward to w/o AL and other stimulants?? Your not foolish, it's normal to want to change and then struggle with letting go. I was a real yo-yo for my first 30 days AF. Never and Forever?? yeeks!!

Now I look at it as 1001 reasons not to drink. Once I got my head around it.. I can't believe I actually thought I was having fun I was so overwhelmed in the beginning. It's really funny oceansize, the other side is really not as scary as it seams. I think it's really cool that you just want to be out of the woods. That is a good sign. You'll find your way out. Believe me, it's not as hard as drinking as much as you'd mentioned... whew! Your body is strong and will thank you for taking care of it. You will be amazed at what you can do. Good luck getting out of the dark mood, do something really nice for yourself. :l Take care.
