Judestir, xpost. Jam and custard creams are round biscuits with a jammy bit in the middle surrounded by a sort of creamy bit and another biscuit on top - they are madlicious!! Where in gods name in the world are you that you don't have jam and custard creams

Actually Jude, I thought it was quite witty at the time! Yeah they are cookies I s'pose, hard to explain the custard bit tho - yep anon they're like Jammie Dodgers but.....they don't have the custard bit I think. My daughter is living in Toronto Jude, she's home for a surprise visit at the moment - she absolutely loves it over there - she was indoctrinating her brother today to emigrate! Anon, I don't think they care that they are pains in the arses as long as they can get away with it - bastards:H

Hello Jumpers, just checking in.

Looks like everyone is getting on the weight loss trail! Since I stopped AL, I'm able to eat about anything (it seems) and maintain my weight. However, it would be nice to drop 10 lbs, so that will be my goal in Feb. I think I'll just start tracking what I'm eating as I haven't done that AT ALL for the last couple of months.

My beloved has mastered snoring and stopping in the middle of a snore to sigh:sighbubble: cos I've moved in the bed to press a button on my mp3 player and then goes straight back into the snore mode - well he did anyhows - don't know too much lately
Mylife, with you on the amount I can eat now. Saw a programme on tele that showed the amount of food you can eat for the calories in a bottle of voddie.....it was like 5 HUGE dinners with chips and everything! I was 'eating' that nearly every day

I know Molly, I figure it gives me at least 600 extra calories a day -- I feel like I'm eating way too much all day long, but really I'm not gaining weight -- so that's basically what I did with the AL!!

My beloved hubby mastered the fine art of snoring about 10 years ago. It has been an ongoing struggle to sleep ever since!

My sister's husband used to snore so badly that the people in the semi-detached house beside them complained of the noise - true story!!
Anyhows I'm now off to my own cozy little bed having done my 'grumpy old woman' impression - nighty night all
