Your not alone. Have you read the Urge Surfing post by Work In Progress in the Tool Box section. That has really helped for me so far. I remember from previous attempts the beginning is the WORST. I know it can get better.AF Since January 02, 2011

I was all alone, COMPLETE isolation, and forced myself, forced, to go outside, go to AA (which I thought ridiculous), eat, sleep and ignore, on purpose, negative thinking and my past/failures. Move forward, hang tight, and BTW, this AF stuff is only the beginning of a bigger puzzle to solve. It's doable tho, look at the facts, MANY have done it before us! Hi Zoey,
As you know, one week in for me. I can honestly say that days two and three were the hardest for me. I made it through by only focusing on the day in front of me. No need to worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Just make it through today, and tomorrow you will feel great about yesterday, and have even more confidence to once again make it through TODAY.
Proud of you. Stick with it. There's life outside of addiction, and it is much more real and wonderful than anything found in a bottle.
