great to have you with me on this journey. thanks so much for your kindness and words.
i remember talking to my bro in law, also a former drink addict, about the show THe Wire (another great one!), and a pivotal point in the plot that during our chat i was horrified to realize i had seen but couldn't remember. i remember thinking, wow, he knows exactly why i can't pinpoint this event in the story. eeek. embarrassed!!! but i know he probably felt compassion, not judgement. so glad those moments of horror are over.
