In my laptop bag next to my computer!!! Always in another room. It gave me an excuse to a little out of hours work. Really I was working the bottles. Where did you hide the booze?

kind of funny but very sad....:-)

In the laundry bin under the dirty clothes...
In the recycling bins (i'm the only one to do laundry or recycle - obviously - LOL!)

oh and in my suitcase - the zippered area inside- when we went anywhere

I didnt hide too much, but just went "out" all the time.
To wash the car "there was a big queue" but really was in the pub having a sneaky one.
Never got a take away delivered, always went to collect it, ALWAYS big queues in the take away shop, not really, could get two sneaky pints in.
Bottle bank, the near one was full so went to the one about three miles away, not really, quick pint.
and so on and so on
The time I spent thinking of a way to get out of the house !!! to get some sneaky beers is unbelievable.

downstairs in the basement on a shelf behind anything
downstarirs in the basement inside my turkey roaster
sitting on the kitchen counter in my coffee cup (lol Lolab!)
disguised as "chicken broth" in the refrigerator in a 16-ounce container

funny now but also kind of pathetic.

So glad I'm not there anymore

Where did you hide it?

I used to hide it in the wardrobe when I shared accomodation, but most of the time I was on my own either outside in the pub or inside on my own which was mostly the latter years. Only had to hide it if I was at someone elses house and then I'd try not to drink. For me hiding the empties was the biggie. I don't drive under the influence so taking it to the bottle bank wasn't an option. I used to creep to the bottle bins when we had communal ones so that neighbours wouldn't see, and hide them in the spare room if I had visitors. Once had a bottle bin so heavy I could barely carry it to the place where they were collected from, and would also have a box of empties in the car waiting for a day when I did manage to drive!

In pockets of coats in my wardrobe
In tall boots
In my make up bag
Rolled up in winter duvets under the bed
In my laptop bag
and finally in the Washing Machine as my OH wouldn`t have a clue how to use it :H

The worst bit about hiding it was the panic the next day on trying to remember where you put it and going to each of those places like a mad woman frantically searching until you do so thankgod those days are behind me !

Where did you hide it?

i really only drink wine, so hiding those bottles is a hard thing to do, but i found ways!

in my studio out in the open because i cut empty bottle in half to make recycled tumblers (those were empties, of course).

bottles with wine were in the kitchen cabinet behind the blender that was wedged against the bread machine, or in the re-usable grocery bags that only i used, or way back in a cabinet that wasn't used much. always in the kitchen though, because i do all the cooking and it was easy to nip at the bottle when i was making dinner.

This is very interesting to me as I never hid it. Unless I was going to the store, then it was hidden in a water bottle cause it looks just like water.
