I had a long conversation with my Dad yesterday. I fessed up to some of my many lies. We love each other tons. I'm on day 7. I admitted that when I slip (relapse...whatever), I avoid him. I clearly told him I love him as he did me.

You must be delighted your Dad told you he loves you. In order to receive love, you have got to give love. Although it might be uncomfortable at times, keep saying it to him. Your bond will strengthen.
