    :l:l to you Greenie.

I keep waiting for that realization and know deep in my soul it will come when it is supposed to come.

Omgosh... This is EXACTLY the kind of post I needed to read! I am a 3 year "Newbie" here... I keep leaving, and coming back, wanting to "start" my recovery again. I prayed for a "sign" today... I prayed that a post would jump out at me and shake me up - and that is exactly what your post did! Not only are you celebrating your AF happiness and success, but you are changing other people's lives today, by sharing...

I too, saved this thread and will read this post often... Thank you!! :l

PS - I love your quote... I may have to borrow that one
God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers...

thanks for sharing that Bean, it was very inspiring and helpful - this is something I'm struggling with. Part of me is thinking of trying to moderate, the other part of me is scared s...less to do that, so I intend to stay AF til the middle of May which will bring me to about 75 days or so. I hope at that stage the demon thoughts will be be so few and far between that moderating won't even be a blip on the horizon!

my life - great idea, but how do you save threads in a "favourites" box?

                Huge Congrats Bean,

I hated thinking about AL every waking moment, it is amazing when you realize that booze is not the most important thing in your life.

It's still the first thing I think about, but now my first thought every morning, is WOW, I went to bed sober again! It sure feels good

Damo, you may feel smugger than a smug thing when you hit 90 days, I spent the whole whole day grinning like an idiot!

Heres to another AF day :l
