    Disaster striked!

    ...but with a happy ending.

Our coconut trees are hanging heavy with coconuts and we have to find a climber to get them of and did'nt make that a priority...so. this morning my puppy dog came screaming into my bedroom. The problem? A cocnut fell on him!! He is so small about 5 inches high! Luckily apparently the cocunut cathced only on the side of his little body - so his O.K. (They say more people die of coconuts felling on them than strucked by lightning!)

That me decide today is the day to get the guy climbing the trees...now I've got a hell of a lot of coconuts (20 trees full of cocos). Last week I saw on MWO Holistic Thread about the uses and advantages of cocunts. I thread to the lady writing about is and she send me link where I can find a recipe making coconut oil!

Today I am making coconut oil... THANK YOU MWO!:thanks::thanks::thanks:

Did't go... was raining, heavy winds and lightning - I were so afraid of lightning 'cause we live in cabanas made of reeds and grass - made a bed for me in the toilet under the clohtes rail between my shoes - hide there because there are no window or mirror!:H

      Hopefully tonight...

Hi BB - glad puppy is ok, he is very small, is he a certain breed?
My dog is my baby and my best friend, she comes everywhere with me.

Making coconut oil sounds fantastic! We have hugh winds here today, the weather has been very unusual for the time of year, normally by now its endless sunshine. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Chill - yes his still a little baby. Village dog - apparantly the african dogs are now a breed on their own. But can you believe it - so small and the coconut hit him! Murphies Law! Our other dog is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He is beautiful but his characteristics are quite different from the norm - he loves to swim and normally they don't like water. He's very, very protective over the baby. Yes, our dogs are like children. Sleeping with us and lots of attention and love! BUT - my best friends are my chicks! I adore them - also african chicks. Fluffy way out feathers. All of them have names. We do not eat them and also not there aggs. They are here just to give me pleasure!

          Nice day!

BB - I havent eaten red meat in many years but I still eat fish and very occasionally chicken. However im finding it harder and harder to eat any living being and the other night in a restaurant I was watching the crabs and lobsters in the tank and felt replused that I could eat them.

Hi beachbump, sorry to hear that you couldn't go to the drum night it sounded wonderful, I hope it goes ahead for you tonight. How frightening to have a storm like that, well done for getting through it AF!!

Hi Chill, I know what you mean about the lobsters in their tanks! I don't really eat very much meat either or fish as I can't eat anything that looked like it did when it was alive, stupid really!

Wishing you ladies and everyone a lovely afternoon and evening.!

Hi DSRL - drum evening went through - just came back - learned how to drum and excited about progress. Very calming on the open beach, with a huge fire and the stars above. Almost every body hjad a beer - thought to myself - I' not jealous!

                    Have a wonderful evening:l

BB don't think like that! I don't know if you read Allan Carr's book about stopping drinking but when I first quit I imagined everyone drinking poison and I can actually remember smelling the wine as the waiter poured it into the glass of the person next to me and feeling disgusted at the smell! Our imaginations are powerful instruments, make sure you use yours to your advantage.

No word yet on my rental but it's in the paper which comes out tomorrow.

Dont be thinking like that you will persuade your self to have a drink at that rate, look how far and happy you are and have come, keep doing the work on yourself get the book chill said and dont quit quitting.
