Chill out day today. Everything done by 9 this morning , legs a bit stiff today, Sooooooooo, Nooooooo not booze, chilled milk shakes, Lime. Bum on couch , sports and documentaries on the box.

Well week 7 , in a bit of a bother, Very very stressful morning. At this point would be so easy to return to the old ways but have brought all my old fishing tackle down from the loft and my intention this p.m. is to dust it all down, new line on the reels, and maybe go fishing tomorrow.

I used to enjoy my fishing so much, but the booze took its place. It truly is an evil poison .

Yea Giggs is a fool , not great timing with the game on Sat (i support Liverpool) ,he always looked whiter than white. You must have better weather over there than we have if your heading fishing, wind has been blowing here for the last week. Hope the stress has eased up a bit

Thought tonight was going to be a lot more difficult than it has been. BIG game on the box, Barcelona v Manchester United, Champions League final . Almost gave in this afternoon , after all it is a BIG game, just a 4 pack of beer, for the game, surely that couldn't do any harm considering spirits were my choice of poison.

The game I decide is just a game, I was deluding myself, making excuses to get alcohol.

Stayed true to myself and the promise I've made to myself. My OH will be delivering cups of tea to TV room as and when required, ...... bless her.

Good for you Foam. I was in the same place yesterday, it was Friday night after all and a holiday weekend to boot. I turned down a party invite down at the river, (my favorite kind of party). Stayed home and BBQ'd a superb steak.......
