    Love this site thanks

Hi 10 day AF and feeling great this site has saved me from slipping my biggest trigger come just about an hour before I get off work because that is when I starting thinking about how good that drinks was going to be when I got home and that would have been fine if one did not turn in to TEN .I have stopped so many time before and always the same reason to start again I would tell myself I can control this time I will only drink on weekend or I will only drink twice a week or I will only brink a pint it worked for about a month or so then back to the same old thing. I come to this site every day and read posts and it helps knowing I?m not alone someone could tell this exact story .A friend of mine that goes to AA a lot asked me why I?m I not drinking anymore and that is not as easy a question to answer as I would have though. He said I had to do it for myself witch I believe but a strong motivator for me is my Family. Well thanks for listening and stay strong .:new:

Hey, I'm new today. Reading through the threads is giving me real hope. I still have very little confidence in my ability to kick the habit, but as you say I have to do it for my family. !10 days is amazing. How did you manage day 1?
