Today is day 8 for me. Yesterday I was at a business meeting and was asked by the host if I wanted to join him in a glass of scotch. It just rolled off my tongue..."Thanks Don but I don't drink" He was a gracious host and we had a coffee instead.
Another huge benefit of being AL free is the found time. I've read posts where people now have time to garden, take their dog for a walk, do things they enjoy. I've found about another 3 hours a day to do what I want (right now its to get my new boat out on the lake) plus I don't have the nagging hangovers to deal with the next day. Add the savings in money and this is a win-win situation and for those fortunate enough to have supportive spouses and friends, a gift for them as well.
