Almost did not post this!!!!!
Ok gang...
No judging okay? After a terribly stressful day I planned on going home to chill. We served some client wine and after seeing the open bottle in my office... I basically shut my office door and gulped down several glasses of white in a champange glass before heading home.
Glass after glass. Arrived home, had a yummy dinner hubby made, didn't drink anyhtng more and no one was the wiser ( not drunk ). Day 3 not AF. I was almost too embarrased to post this.
Need to get my shit back together.

E, go back to just getting through 1 day. You can do it today! before you know it the AF days will be piling up again.
I hope everyone is doing ok. We are getting ready for IRENE. It will come right through my area. Way to busy to even think about drinking. spent most of the day pulling out emergency stuff from the garage, and shopping for what was missing. Then I had to make sure my parents were ready. Hopefully it wont be as bad as all the hype!Comment

Oh, my, a number of us seem to be in the same place: stress, cravings and and hitting the "fuck it" button. (A number of posters called it that on my "Blowing it" thread, and it described my scenario perfectly.) Well, all we can do is stay close here, read and post, plan, and be reminded of why we don't want to drink ever again. After tying one on last night, I woke up with the guilt, fear, anxiety and depression that always followed a night of hitting the bottle. Horrible feelings, and I don't want them anymore.
So, here's to us and our success! (clinking of glass of cranberry juice, seltzer with lime)
WineNoMore--I see we have the same avatar. I've been wanting to change mine for awhile now, so you've given me the perfect reason. Hm-m-m, decisions, decisions.

Juja... I like your new avatar! Welcome back. I read your blowing it thread a few days ago and I think a case of the "fuck its" sums it up.
I made it through fresh start Friday with no problems which set me up for a happy " sober Saturday" today. I am nursing a nasty cold, other then that full speed ahead.
If anyone else fell off the wagon... The best thing to do is get right back on. Staying close is critical.

In bed the entire day sick with the flu... Bla! Actually called in sick to work for the first time in ages. My husband added... at least your not hung over. Gotta love him. Last time I was sick I think I nursed it with wine ( no kidding ).

Fail fail fail
Hi lovelies,
Quick update while on holiday while no kid snatched the Ipad yet. ...
Epic fail from me, drank a few glasses of vino collapso every day since Wed ... My 3 biggest triggers combined horribly and I must admit I hit the F ... It button .... Repeteadly. .. I did not get sloshed but definitely ... Altered.
It all started with the worst case of PMS + work stress before the holiday ... Then the holiday itself ... i am 35 and definitely not expecting hitting the hormone switch yet but something is definitely off as I hit depression big time, got a forehead full of acne and an added bonus of 2 extra kilos in less then a week ... Yep, right before going to a beach holiday ... Effin' brilliant ...
I am still on the golf leg of our break, Greece coming in a few days ... So I plan to Fight this by doing lots of excercise ... and no more drinking ...
Hang in there ladies ... Fighting a cold, Irene, back to school and personal battles. I hope i can report some quality AF time next time I check in .
