I'm new to this forum as well (first day here, actually). But I must say I've found your story, let's say, "different". I mean, you do NOT enjoy alcohol. Yet, you still drink it???
Aw, that's hard to understand. Unless you' re already taking some medicine like Naltrexone or Baclofen. Are you?

      :welcome: LemonLime and Gamer,

I'm one that used to enjoy the taste of my drinks, but after a while I just lost the taste and drank anything and every thing to get the buzz. That was over two years ago and haven't touched a drop of alcohol since. You're in the right place for advice and help.

Don't want to overload you both with info at the moment but have a look in the link below to get you started.

          Day1 - Update

Didnt miss the drinks at all. Was a bit edgy but got over it by keeping busy. Felt good and had a good night sleep..

LL: I too was a binge drinker. I stopped for periods of time...not a whole year...but sometimes weeks &/or months. I always went back for "no good reason." When I did go back, I worked my way up to being worse than where I left off. I didn't like what drinking was doing to me:
            -hiding it.
            -blacking out.
            -lying.
            -etc.

I came here to MWO & found I just couldn't sustain sobriety. I then decided to go to AA & now combine that w/MWO. So far so good.

            Good luck.

Hello & welcome to MWO LemonLime, gamerdaddy & Adley

MWO is a good place, many of us have reached our goals & are living AF lives today!
If you haven't already be sure to download the MWO book, You can get it right in the Health Store here on the website.

Use the Tool box thread JC posted for you for lots of great ideas to help you make your plans.
Everyone is different so you need to make a plan that works just for you. Generally speaking, a firm commitment, a solid plan & use of the MWO Hypno CDs worked for me.

Stay close to the threads & please drop in the Newbies Nest thread for more support.
