Hi everyone,
Thanks for all of your support... My first day of that fantastic plan got off to a bad start because I woke up feeling sick with a bad head cold and fever which meant I couldn't go to work or do any exercise...
Also, yes the fridge did looked packed with vegetables .. but it seemed there was'nt actually anything to eat..??!!.I couldn't face that new juicer which was still in the box, so I had a strong coffee which set off an immediate desire to smoke, even though I had the patch on and thats when I remembered that the pack I threw away last night still had 3 cigs left. Yes... I retrieved them and smoked them and then felt quite nauseated.
I did take the supplemements and I did eventually eat well, but while I was looking for a jar of olives, I found a can of Irish Guniness. Not sure why it was at the back of the cupboard, maybe I hid it one day.
Anway I drank that can of guinness. This was early, around lunch time. I felt like such a loser for doing that and then those same old feelings of 'Ah well, I've blown it today, I'll start tomorrow' kicked in. So Strongly
It was like a domino effect... but then somehow I said no keep trying now.
And so here I find myself sober, I havent had anything to drink since that Guinness. Its time to go to bed and although I can't say I had an AF day, I am really happy that I fought that idea of having more..
I think I need to learn about adaption techniques when plans go a bit wrong. I did end up drinking lots of water and ginger tea
