    Welcome punter!

    No excuses, blame no-one.........Do something.

'For years you?ve looked for external approval, strength, support and even ?permission? from others, when all you ever needed to do was look within. It?s all there. You are enough. More than enough. You always have been. For years you?ve over-estimated others while under-estimating yourself. You trusted them, while doubting me. That is, you. And it was always your doubt ? not your ability ? that stood between you and your dreams. You and transformation. You and enlightenment. You and happiness.
    It?s time for change.

I know that taking chances doesn?t come easily to you; I want you to take them anyway. I know your fears because I listen to the internal dialogue, I see through your eyes and I feel what you feel. You may not know it, comprehend it or even believe it yet, but I am telling you that you have more strength, courage and power than you could ever imagine, if only you would open that door. Your perceived weakness comes not from lack of power or potential but rather, from lack of belief. It?s time for you to believe. In you. Self-belief comes not from a place of arrogance or ego, but from a place of knowing and understanding. Knowing and understanding who you are and what you are capable of.
And you are indeed capable of much.

It?s time for you to stop empowering others and sabotaging yourself. Time to step out of the darkness of fear and into the light of your potential. You are worthy. You are good enough. You are talented. You are powerful. And you are loved and valued more than you know. The voice that tells you otherwise is not logic or intelligence. It is the betrayer; fear. The one who would steal your passion, your promise, your potential and your possibilities, if you would let him.'

Best wishes folk's. Go for it!

Keep this one going Mr Guitar---I apologize, I only read the first paragraph. It was Perfect! Techie and Pinks endorsement followed---it must be ALL GOOD! I've been immersed in that ole approval thing for many years. Trying to figure out how to deal with that is easier sober than perpetually drunk!

            Welcome punter!

'Well, I’ll start by sharing three important things:

            1. You ain’t gonna undo twenty years of unhealthy thinking (and subsequent behaviours) by next Tuesday, so be patient, be courageous and don’t give up.

            2. Different things work for different people (there’s no one-approach-fits-all solution), so pay attention to what your results (good or bad) are telling you.

            3. If you’re not where you want to be (physically, emotionally, financially, professionally, socially, etc..) then whatever you’ve been doing doesn’t work – so don’t do that! Same produces same.

With that in mind, here are twelve strategies that have proven to be effective for many people over the years. Keep in mind that these strategies are as powerful or pointless as you make them. Theory is just theory until we bring it to life. Ultimately, success or failure always comes down to you and me, because transformation lives in the application (of the information). If you’re looking for a simple, quick and painless solution, or someone to wave a wand and ‘fix’ you, then this is not the article for you.

            1. Take some time and space to seriously consider what your body, your health, your life and your overall reality might look like in five years if you continue on your current trajectory.

            2. Create an accountability system – something to keep you doing what you need to – even when you don’t ‘feel’ like it.

            3. Stop looking for the easy, comfortable option. Look for the effective option. Do you want to be comfortable in the very short term (today) or happy, successful and empowered over the long term?

            4. Surround yourself with people who will drag you up not down. In many ways, we become who we hang out with so choose carefully.

            5. Consciously shift your focus. Many people focus on the one or two negatives in their lives while failing to acknowledge or appreciate all the great stuff.

            6. Get stuff done early in the day. It’s well known that being productive in the a.m. puts us in a better place (mentally and emotionally) for the rest of our day. Being proactive before lunch means we’re more likely to (a) make better decisions and do better things for the rest of the day and (b) deal with any challenges in a more positive and solution-focused way.

            7. Recognise your thoughts for what they are and what they aren’t. What they are is theoretical ‘somethings’ in your head. Ideas. Possibilities. Fears. More often than not, what they aren’t is ‘real’ beyond the walls of your mind.

            8. Ask better questions. Better questions equal better choices, reactions, behaviours and results.

            9. Expose yourself. Stop it. Expose yourself to new ideas, philosophies and experiences. Do different to be different.

            10. Stop giving yourself an escape clause. Consciously or not, most of us give ourselves an ‘out’. We want to change but we’re not always totally committed to the change process.

            11. Control your controllables. Stop obsessing over the things you can’t change; your past, your genetics, other people. Pay attention to, and invest energy into, the things over which you have control.

            12. Stop focusing on you (for a while). Self-reflection is only healthy to a point. Sometimes, the most effective way to improve our own life is to invest into the lives of others. Show me a selfish person who is genuinely happy and I’ll show you where the Easter Bunny lives.'
