It feels good to be with the most wonderful of souls, again.

Kind thoughts are with you--reflections actually, reminders of how you are beautiful.
Because you reflect such enormous light that clarifies what we as individuals in truth are.

The lie, the distortion plays with my colors in random moments of issued distortion.
How peaceful to know our hearts are this Earths rhythm so magnificent.

Manifest your precious originality today moment to moment, embrace by embrace.

Isn't it lovely to be unique?

Neva, what is the point of your post? G-man has been a huge influence in helping people get sober. He has been a life saver for many and a wonderful supporter. Does it matter that he tried to see for himself if modding worked? I know you have had a drink...you are not 100% al free yet you try to help others here. Should people who try to help others here be perfect? If so, there would be NO ONE HERE. There is no place for judgement here, it doesnt help anyone. Let those who are perfect cast the first stone........

Thanks for your beautiful post. Don't worry. I'm okay, and all cool here. No relapse or slip, just a concious crack at moderating the last few months. And i had unfinished business with booze that i had to resolve and re- explore. And glad i went there. Nice buzz for an hour or 2, but what then? I don't want 2/3 drinks, i want to keep drinking when i get home. 1 or 2 drinks is crap, give me the bottle! This is the equation i have weighed up. So, i have a choice. No choice re my addiction, but a choice in how i tackle it. For me, after 2.5 yrs of sobriety of late, i've chosen the alcohol free path, and i thought it might be of benefit to share my recent experiences here.

                  How are you going?

                  All contributions welcome.
g, I had to give that a crack early on. Didn't work for me either. I get absolutely no enjoyment out of 1 or 2 or 3 drinks. The only thing my brain loves is getting smashed. WAY too big a drag on my life.

                  Good luck G.

                  DG

PS - Posted that before reading the whole thread. We love you G-man and you have helped many. You found out what you needed to know. Lean on us for support if you need to. We are all here to help each other learn and grow. :h

NE, I think Mr. G is re-learning his own philosophy, albeit in a pretty painful way.

                    There's no controversy here.

Strength to you, G-star. You've been a huge inspiration to me and many others.

                      G,

I have read your posts over the last few months that I have been here and you have done nothing but try to help people in a most positive and non judgemental way. You never get involved in arguments or stupid tit for tat posts and you seem to always be there for people that need a hand up. Day one again? Meh!

You tried to mod, you had to give it a go for you own reasons and you have decided to stop again.

All normal and fine. You have an awesome amount of knowledge and strength so this won't be an issue for you.

Thank you for all of your posts and best of luck for the next 30 days although I have little doubt you will be just fine.

                      Dave.

An older drunk back on day one. Who's with me?

Hey G - is that short for Guru?

Well I slipped up last night, found a 175ml bottle (well thimble really) of vodka stashed in a black plastic bag amongst shoe polish (??) I couldnt throw it out so had 3 strong drinks mixed with coconut juice - being AF I had no mixers in the house - but then I wanted more so went and got a bottle of wine, had half a glass then threw the rest of the bottle down the drain.

I woke up this morning and I'm back AF. Guess what I'm trying to say is thanks to YOU and 99% of the people on these forums, I can be honest about my slip and happily get to it again with even more determination... and it is BECAUSE of you and the other 99% here that I can do that, and in fact WANT to do that..

I'm grateful, you rock! ( wow reading all these lovely posts - hope your halo doesnt strangle you !!! )
