Heard talks about seltzer on threads and pretty sure we can get that here. what is your drink of choice now? I will have a look at aspartame. I am only new so this is all new to me and any help is always appreciated. at the moment i am just doing it on my own and coping really well i think but i am going to get some l-glut. just starting to get my appetite back and so craving for chocolate and i dont normally eat it. any ideas on tht one.

OMG it is the bomb digity!!! Get some today, I prefer the lemon/lime flavor, its a GREAT substitute. I guess Im still stuck in the "drinking" phase, because now I HAVE to have a bottle next to me at night.

If funny now I have plastic bottle caps laying around instead of noisy aluminium cans....I need a maid! (I thought thats why I got married)

        what I drink now

        Hi,

I' a coffee addict but in trying for better health now restrict that to two cups in the morning and then switch to decaf. There are warnings about decaf too but most talk about symptoms I don't get.
Very occasional fizzy drinks (once every two months maybe).
Lots of water which I find I don't get fed up with.
I have to go out, will be in the chat room later this arvo.

OOOOh the chocolate cravings ...chocolate too used to be a once in a blue moon for me, now it is daily!

          Willow,

I am an idiot and lost the post it where I wrote down the name of the recovery online site you recommended. Could you pls give it again.

I am also a coffee addict but try hard not to have anymore in the afternoon. As for choc - it hits you with sugar, serotonin and a world of flavors wrapped in richness, it really is no wonder that it could replace some of the void the AL left.

Try - Lindt's dark chocolate with chilli - one small square will give you such a taste explosion ...
