    Hello everyone

    Mauri,

Wishing you tons of strength! Sorry you aren't feeling well - hows about snuggling up with a nice hot cup of tea or whatever your favorite hot drink is? I think you should just spend the day in bed or on the couch and take it easy. I remember how hard it is when the kids were young - you have to find your sleep where you can get it.

You deserve this day of rest - you are doing great. Day 6 is it?

Has hubby ever tried those strips you put over your nose to help you sleep better? I think they help with snoring too

    Have a great day girl!

      Hello everyone

Thanks Jolie, it is day 5 for me today, no rest for the wicked im afraid ds is keeping me wide awake my nose and eyes are streaming and I feel really horrible keeping strong on the AF front though, got plans for a very early night tonight! DH tried the nose strips but he breathes through his mouth at night so it didn't help! I am going to invest in some industrial earplugs then he will have to listen out for DS waking up too!!

          Hello everyone

          Mauri,

So sorry you are feeling so bad. I know how sick those sinus infections can make you feel. Hope you can get to the doc and get some medicine in you - hopefully you will start feeling better soon!

Bet you never thought there would be a "plus" side to feeling so sick but like you said - keeps our minds off the AL

            Hello everyone

UGH still feeling rubbish but think I am getting slowly better although the same can't be said for my poor hubby, after a week of tonsilitis he now has a streaming cold, I honestly can't remember us all being so ill for so long DS is still coughing and sneezing too I am happy that I haven't had any al though especially since I have no money till pay day so if I buy anything at all it will be on my overdraft!

I have had another candle order, for a valentine one this time so I need to get on with that, finding it hard to get time for my work atm though as DS hasn't been to nursery all week hopefully we will be well soon!

              Hello everyone

Phew finally feeling a bit better and so much more so for not having had a drink, one week today !!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of myself for finally getting 7 days under my belt (although I do feel a bit of a cheat since i have been ill!)

Anyway I think I am finally realising how much I actually hate drinking, the feeling of being in control is a far better one, I am taking a multi vitamin a day and a herbal stress relief tablet 3 times a day at the moment, will see how i go with those for now, my sleep is a little better although DH is still snoring!

Right off to do some long awaited household chores!

I say just take the days any way you can get them! The first week was always rough for me - congratulations Mauri - you are doing fabulous!

                  Hello everyone

Great job on 7 days Mauri. Glad you are feeling better. Now rack up another 7 days and you will start feeling even better. It's worth it. The sleep will be divine.

                      Hello everyone

Hi Girl! That is not my pug in the picture, but I do have a pug. She is a rescue estimated to be about 3 yrs old. We have had her since Sept. and is our family's first dog. Couldn't imagine a better dog for us. We all love her so much. Keep up the work trying to quit. Very few of us succeeds on the first (or 5th) try. The fact that you are trying is wonderful. Stay close to the nest when you feel weak. The nest has gotten me through many rough patches.

I really need to update my avatar with my pug. Will put that on the list of things to do!
