Fought the temtation
Way to go Daisy!!! Every single time you drive by the store you weaken the urge and put yourself a step closer to the freedom we all want.
It is easy when the urge is not thtere but when it is there and you resist it shows your true strength - way to go girl!

Good job Daisy:goodjob:
I read somewhere that an urge usually lasts approx. 10 minutes. Keeping busy during that time is key. I had driven past the liquor store instead of stopping and then driving 10 minutes out of my way. By the time I got back to the road I needed to be on the craving passed.:flower: Change a life; make someone feel important. ................. ........................ ..................... ........................ ................. ....... sigpic

I know exactly what you mean about the urge...I was shopping today and actually went down the liquor isle and wanted to buy some wine soooo bad, but didn't. I am new to this site and am waiting for my meds (topramx and adrifinil) to come in the mail. I don't want to abstaine totally but did not want to give in to an urge. When I drink again I want to feel as if I could take it or leave it, not compulsive. Anyway, good for you!
