Well, we all know how THAT goes! Next thing I know, Monday rolls around and I drag my butt into the office feeling like crap. I'm tired of spending the weekends drunk; I'm tired of missing or not enjoying events because of drinking; I'm tired of putting off projects around the house because I'm too tired/drunk to do them.
I've tried AA before, and really made an attempt to make it work, but it just wasn't a 'fit' for me. As other posts have mentioned, you have to find what works for you.
I can honestly say that I have a feeling of serenity after ordering the book and reading the posts on this website (I'm calling it my MYO epiphany). I think that mentally I'm finally ready to make the plunge because of that. Now whether it works out or not is an entirely different matter but my fingers are crossed!!
Anyway, has anyone experienced anything like that?
