    Woo hooo!!

Sorry all I am being shamelessly selfish in making a new thread just for this.

But I cannot help it - I am so happy,

I phoned the surgery for my results of a test the Dr sent me for - liver function, blood sugar, cholesterol etc

    ALL NORMAL

I feel like I have been given such a gift.

I know there is so much further for me to go, but what a huge "running start".

I could just cry with the relief!

            Woo hooo!!

            Thanks all!

Its a horrible to be waitining to hear if there has been long term damage.

Now I have to remember that it was scary so when the "dependent voice" inside me starts asking for a drink I can remind it of this time.

Welcome ccarpenter.:welcome: You say you want to reduce intake. Have you tried that before? Most of us here have, and failed. There are lots of people here with so much experience and empathy. We all help each other so much, as I've come to learn, even though I'm having a bad night right now. Go to the Newbies Nest and post your story, and read others, as I know that will help you, regardless of what you decide.

Hope to hear a lot more from you. :l

Mands, so happy for you - being afraid that something is wrong is scary stuff. Think of it as your chance now to take good care of your precious body.

                      Best to you!
