Well as far as dangerous versus damaging, I did a ton of dangerous things. Drove from the time I was 16 until I was 42 drunk and not proud of it. Surfed 10 ft storm surf and surfed sharf infested waters in Mexico. Spent 3 or 4 evenings in the Tia Juana jail during my youth for fighting. Drove down Florence and Normandy in LA after dark to show a buddy where the LA riots occurred. Drove deep into Mexico past many Federale check points drunk as a skunk, and got into many bar/street fights in Mexico and the States. All of these things could have taken my life quite easily.
Now as far as the permanent damage, I got all of my front teeth knocked out going over the handle bars while riding a bike home from a beach bar in the dark. I have permenent damage to my ear drums and chest when an M-1000 explsive blew up in my face while lighting a short fuse drunk, I still have tinnitus (ringing in the ears) constantly for the last 13 years. I also still have imbedded sharpnel in my chest from the explosion I have scars from stitches over both eyes and under my chin from street fights. These are all constant reminders to me why I do not drink anymore. The ears and the teeth are still bothersome to this day.
