    What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

    All from drunken falls: Right leg held together by numerous bits of metal. 6 bust ribs, ruptured spleen and lacerated lung from another fall.

    I gotta stop this nonsense.........

      What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

      Fell on my tailbone while trying to cut my toenails after a night of drinking ("oh, let's give ourselves a pedicure right now...!"). Hurt my butt for weeks after!

      Ok, worst thing...having an affair. I wasn't married at the time and this was a long time ago and I have forgiven myself, but I cannot believe that it happened and it was entirely after a night of drinking and making poor choices.

      Other things: Hurting family and friends with saying things I did not mean while drunk. Throwing things. Driving. Falling asleep with candles burning. Burning my hands on the stove. Taking pain killers to kill the pain of hangover headache, only to do more damage to my liver. Dehydrating myself so that my bloodwork showed an electrolyte imbalance. OMG, the list goes on. I think I'll go back to the 5 things I am most grateful for thread...lol. Just kidding...this is a great thread and one to refer to when we think of having that first drink!
      Whatever you invest in the circle of LIFE is what comes back to you. Multiplied. What you give to people is what they eventually give back to you. Don't do the math. Just increase your LOVE.

          I would often shake hands with people after handling raw poultry !
          Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

            I'm so glad we are ALL here to still be able to share our lives stories!
            Driving is my very #1 scary and dangerous AL habit albeit I never harmed anyone, myself or my car nor did I get caught but we're talking many years of it.
            Otherwise sex, crying, fights, black-outs (many many many black outs), embarassing friends or boyfriends at social gatherings, feeling the victim, etc. Missed a few family holidays due to hangover as well as plenty of work.
            No one would probably tell about me, either - yu just never know.
            ps I've walked home, too, feeling totally sick and not caring at all if I got hurt.

              Headed out to a night club.....woke up the next morning with some lady that I did'nt know. I apparently drove her over to the abode we stay at ! Don't remember that one either .....bad medicine ! Bad for her too ! Not proud of it......( Wasn't married then though...)

                What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

                This is a summarized version as I cannot possibly remember half of the bad! These are all separate events that I can remember...

                2nd and 3rd Degree burns on my leg and arm
                Broken wrist
                20 some stitches in my arm
                7 stitches in my hand
                3 stitches in my finger
                Multiple bruises, scrapes, cuts
                Fell off my bicycle
                Wiped out my dirt bike
                Drove a car :upset: got a dui (still scares me now 8 yrs later, just relieved I never killed anybody) by far one of the dumbest things I did!
                Forgot food in the George Foreman grill and passed out on the carpet
                I'd rather not get in to things I have said or done to others

                Ughhh, make me sick to my stomach!

                  Boh, you reminded me about when I went head over heels over my handlebars of my bike after hitting a pot hole. I had road rash for a week.
                  Another time I went ass over head on my rollerblades because I thought I was hot shit roller derby chick or something.
                  Dumbass.

                  Goal 1: 7 days :heartbeat:

                  Goal 3: 21 days :happy2:
                  11/27/19: messed up but back on track
                  12/14/19: bad doozy but back on track

                    This is not meant to be a funny thread in the least, but I couldn't help it Techie! LOL

                    Years ago (in my 20s), my ex and I put a frozen pizza in the oven only to pass out and wake up to the pizza still cooking the next afternoon. It was the size of a hockey puck. So lucky I never burned my house down!!

                            Jumped into a flooded river in February (that's winter here and chilly), ran into nototorious quicksands, drove a car, walked out in front of lorries, went to strangers houses, let people into my house who were untrustworthy, consumed illegal drugs, operated cooker, gas fire (which I fell onto once), candles etc. Jumped out of moving car.......rode a bicycle.

                            Any more?
                            I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

                            Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years

                              Boozer, I actually HIT a wild boar in Florida but thank goodness I wasn't driving

                              I have run naked through my development in the pouring rain to get back to my apartment because I couldn't find my clothes. Or keys. DOH

                                Done this one too no not the boar, just the naked running around in public.
