    What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

    Hello LB and everyone. That must have been horrific!! I once drove into a creek full of running water and woke up with ducks floating past!! Wondered where the hell I was. GEEZ I HAVE DONE SOME CRAZY THINGS WHEN DRUNK!:nutso::nutso:

      What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

      Riding on a roof rack of a car that was going very fast down a steep , curling hill... being pushed along by a running drunken boyfriend in a shopping trolley.... drinking and dialling and saying things I regretted the next day .... aerobics class and also tennis in extreme heat while extremely intoxicated....swimming in the sea alone....going on sunbeds drunk, I wouldn't do that sober now not even if you paid me....attending professional functions and drinking...putting job at risk etc!! (I shudder)
      New life started on 1st May 2014, One day at a time I will work at continuing it forever!

        What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

        Oh my God. Too many to remember but the one that has been in my mind lately was setting the kitchen on fire late at night whilst I fell asleep on the couch in the living-room.

        I also "borrowed" a car and smashed into three other vehicles (all parked) and caused several thousand pounds of damage. I was doing my Phd at the time and had to leave the course. As I type this I cannot believe how fu$%^&g stupid I have been.

          What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

          I seemed to be drunk enough to get myself into terrible situations, but somehow I usually came out unscathed. I have left the cooker on too Neddy, but luckily nothing came of it. I do remember waking up one morning having fallen asleep face down in an ashtray with a lit cigarette in it. How my hair didn't catch fire I'll never know but I did have a fag burn on my face to explain. Ugh.

          I have never been arrested thank god, or raped or beaten up. I don't have myself to thank for that, just luck.

                That sounds even better!

                Maybe my very sober Dad is guiding me in his footsteps now. He would be amazed if he could see the difference in me. I know he would be proud of me and that is comforting.

                    What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

                    Well, I am taking my Mum to visit my sister in Falkirk tomorrow. Not a usual occurrence. Normally I am in my cups somewhere. My mum is really happy for me at the moment. She says I am looking the best I have in years. Then again, she is a confirmed teetotaller and thinks the booze is a demon. To be fair, she is right.

                      What are some of the DANGEROUS things you've done while Drunk?

                      I hope you have a fabulous time with your family. Your Mum must be dead chuffed to have her son back. BTW, the last time I drove to Falkirk to visit a friend I ended up in Lanark. And I was sober. The only reasonable explanation I could come up with was that they both ended in 'k'. :H
