No alcohol weekend!
Hi all, well it is 47 days and no alcohol! THis weekend was no problem (for some reason) not having any! I did keep myself very busy though! Which does help. I went hiking saturday and sunday did housework and took the dog for a walk! It was great to be outdoors. You really need to have something to do to keep your mind of Alcohol. You need to plan and have back up "things to do" when and if it does hit! That is my advice! I am taking up this hiking thing and it reallly is alot of fun! .....I do need to hit a few AA meetings which I plan to do this week.....Hope everyone is well!Tags: None

No alcohol weekend!
Good job....I have found that now with all this time (instead of drinking) I have sooo much to do & not enough time to do it! My week & weekends fly by and I am happy that I can enjoy every minute of it.:flower: Change a life; make someone feel important. ................. ........................ ..................... ........................ ................. ....... sigpic

No alcohol weekend!
Shitzulover, 47 days is wonderful news...You have the right idea as well, don't wait until you have a craving for a drink to find something to do, instead plan ahead and have plenty of backup plans to help you through...A F F L..

No alcohol weekend!
GREAT work shitzulover... I look up to you. Yes its amazing how valuable time seems when you are sober... life just seems so much richer. I often heard how alcohol abuse is often referred to as a "dark, empty world"... and that is so true. Life sux when hungover and anticipating the next binge drinking session. Now I have so many things to do, like eat a nice meal, or go for a walk with a friend, or catch a movie... so much better!
