4th day of AF and 2nd of no carbs..is it a good idea
Ditto to what Honeysoup said.
My doctor even advised against me quitting cigarettes for a while...too much, too quick is a recipe for burning out on everything. Once I tried to go on a diet, quit smoking AND quit drinking all at the same time. It lasted 2 days and then I went back to everything!
Just focus on being AF for now, other things will fall into place when you're stronger!

I'm with the group...eat a carb. Do not drink! 4th day of a low carb diet is when I hit the wall hard...I'd give it a couple weeks AF first...then try the diet. I initially gained a little when I first started out, because I was eating everything that wasn't nailed in...but after a few weeks I began to lose some...and after a year I have dropped 9 pounds and am not really watching it. Once you get the Beast at bay, it is easier to tackle other projects. Good luck! Byrdie

I agree with the others. Too hard to do both at once. Like Byrdie said, you'll probably want to eat everything in sight. For me I craved sweets really for the first time in my life when I quit drinking. But I thought I'll take the sweets over the alcohol and then cut out the sweets later.

I quit smoking about 7 weeks after I quit drinking & that was enough!!!!!
It took me a long time until I felt secure enough to give up a lot of carbs to lose weight.
I would highly advise focusing on one quit at a time!
Wishing you the best
