      Back at square one!

Good on you for coming back FD. I believe you are committed, and as researchqueen said, the regression is sometimes a part of the quitting. Don't look back, take a deep breath and carry on.

I have had a few drinks here and there since I quit in Feb too. I haven't binged or even gotten drunk, and I don't want to. I've not drank at all for 10 days now, and I feel great.

      Take care and stay close.:l

            Back at square one!

Hi everyone! I am a little I bummed out today as the weather is kind of crappy and waiting for a call for a intern job this summer so my anxiety level is way up there today. Not sure what I am going to do this weekend yet. I am going to work outside if i can and maybe work on the boat if the weather is good. I really get a hard time with staying sober when the weather is bad and I am stuck inside. I might head to the store and see if i can find a project to work on for the weekend. Maybe a puzzle and make some fishing lures. Which has me kind of excited already Thank you all for your support and thank you K9 for wondering how i am today. Hope you are doing good yourself there!! Thank you patricia and great job on day 2 for you!!:h

              Back at square one!

I too am back at day 1 ... after 2 weeks AF. All this starting/stopping is really doing my head in. I started drinking again because I got complacent. Its back to "I'm not drinking today"

Yes we will beat this. I'm sick of failing. Life is a lot more straightforward alcohol free

                    Back at square one!

Best of Luck to everyone in this battle!, I can relate to so many of those back at day ones. I just remember how even if I drink now for a night, how I will feel the next 3 days. I am learning now the coping skills that are needed for me not to pick up that bottle. Best of luck on you on many more days of no AL.

How was your weekend FD? Were you able to stay busy and not obsess about AL? Hope so. I think it's great you're getting back to it and not letting a slip turn into an excuse to have a bender. Sounds like you know what to do. Take care friend.

                        Back at square one!

Thank you all for your support! I feel like I'm in company of people how really understand me here and people I can relate to and know what there going threw as well. Sunday went very well as I felt no real desire to drink. Keeping busy and hitting the hay early helped alot. Ready to take on this day! SOBER!!!
