Hi and thanks for reaching out. I am 47 soon to be 48 and live in Ohio. I need/want to get sober. Been to a few AA meetings but never stick around long enough for the message to kick in i guess. I have no legal issues or any job problems luckily right now, but marriage slipping bc of the drink. Nice to meet you Kitty

Welcome to MWO. This site is great, because theres people on from all over the world there's always someone here to offer support 24/7.
I'm now on day 67 AF - wouldn't be possible without the help of this site.
Why not drop in to Newbies Nest in the Just starting out section where you'll find lots of support from others just starting out and from people with long term sobriety experience too.
Also check out theTool Box thread in the General Abstinence section. It is full of useful ideas for when you are struggling.
