I woke this morning thinking "this isn't that bad, it's really pretty easy." Then I read a few posts which were supportive of my efforts and got very emotional. I'm not used to letting myself cry, but decided to be in the emotion, and let it wash over me. I was reminded of one of the most inspiring speaches I've ever heard. It was by the late Jimmy Valvano, who days before he died, was awarded the Arthur Ashe Courageous Acheivement award. Jimmy V could barely walk or support himself for days leading up to the speach. He had to be helped to the podium by Dick Vitale. But his emotion got him so riled up that he actually started pacing during his delivery. You can watch the speech here:

If you choose not to watch, here's my favorite part: To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. Number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.
