    5 Weeks Sober!

    Hey All,

Today I'm 5 weeks sober. Yay! :yay: I didn't think I'd get past my ol' brick wall, 5 days. For some reason, for me the 5th day is/was the toughest. But I did it!

I probably wouldn't have gotten to this milestone if I hadn't gone into the hospital and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I HAD to stop, and I knew it.

This time around, I don't have any urge to drink anymore because I know the consequences. And I really feel great. I'm eating a balanced diet, taking vitamins, and am beginning to exercise more. If 'I' can do it as an "old" alcoholic, I'm hoping anyone who wants to go AF will give it a shot. The first two weeks weren't easy, but it got better and better and here I am!

This is the work need to be done Matti !
I were also not thinking life without alcohol and my abuse to this substance is more than two decades.
Now am on my way to sobriety and its been 76 days already and no craving expecting a life threatening problem.
            Keep it up fellow !:goodjob:

Great job Matti! When you take alcohol out of the equation making it not even a possibility, things get a lot easier.
