So I've wanted to quit or slow down, which never seems to work out, for a long long time. so I finally made the decision to take a medical route. I am starting Antabuse on monday 8/20. A tiny bit scared, but way more excited to be a me. To be a better me and better mommy and better wife. That's it for now.

I Mommy and welcome. Good for you. Do make sure you have no alcohol in your system before you take antabuse. You will be far safer taking the medicine than drinking. Good luck, let us know how you get on.. -

Antabuse requires quite a committment, but it sounds like you are ready for it. I have been on it for a very long time, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Allow 12 hours between your last drink and your first dose of AB.
