I could cry knowing I have this resource to gain strength from and people who fight a common battle even with all the various lifestyles, backgrounds and issues they deal with daily. I will never forget the sense of relief when I'd type out something I consider to be horrible about myself and have 5 or 6 others say, "yes I did that too." I have made admissions here that my own husband doesn't know about and I've never been met with anything other than understanding and acceptance.

I came here in October 2010; while I may not have been totally AF since then, I have made major strides in that direction.....I would not recognise myself now as the person I was back then - for that I am so grateful. Onwards and upwards is the underlying current here - I consider this my little oasis in the desert that no-one around me knows about except me and all of you, so thank you all.....

I just wanted to agree with what's already been said.

My hubby doesn't know I've found this either - he would not be impressed !! He says I haven't got a problem, just a habit. Same meaning, different name in my opinion.
