    October Sober...

    Hello everyone! Day 5 for me! Hope everyone is well. Started and exercise program monday and am eating better. No more trash in my body! This includes plastic bottles of vodka!

    Here we go!

        Matchee and Silver, way to go with day 5 :woot:

        I've had a somewhat interesting 3rd day of October Sober with having to assist in a theatre production touring to a school that needed me to lob a dead mackerel across the stage.

        Yes - fishy fingers i had for the rest of the day :yuk: Now back home, getting snug and and ready for the sober 4th.

                :waving: Morning peeps

                Hope you're all waking feeling groovy. It's a Thursday. I teach in a VERY posh school on a Thursday. And when i say posh... I mean Etonian posh.

                I'm not, i hasten to add. Posh, that is.

                I'll need to work on scripting some of the conversations i have with the kids there... though it is the parents who are worse. "YAH, Hmmmm... OAF CO-ARSE, YE-USS..." Kinda like that...

                  Good Morning....I am ashamed to say I have not spent on day in October sober so far but NO MORE! I am going to do this TODAY! I pored out the vodka and I will not buy any more! I've been looking for a job so that is how I got 2 interviews today, one at 9 and one at 1. My daughter has counseling today at 6 so no drinking then. By the time we get home at 7:15 the witching hours will be 1/2 over. My norm is to go to the shop while she is in with the counselor but today I will take a book and read. I have to do this, I HATE feeling this way!
                  ALL I HAVE TO DO IS GET THOUGH THIS DAY AF

                    Good Morning My October Cheer Leaders. Another sober day for me. My quit day was August 29th I slipped on September 8th and back on the wagon on 9/9, had another couple of slips and now I think I am on day 10th. Woohoo
                    AF since 8/29/12 Goal 30 day-screwed up on day 9
                    AF since 9/9/12- Goal 30 days

                          Day 45 here...and I TTDAP'ed so I'm good. Let's get OCTOBER DONE!!!!
                          That popping sound you hear is me attempting to remove my head from my arse. It's been there for years so this may take a while.
                          Admitting I need healing. And I am not big enough to do this alone.

                              Day 4 everyone! And this makes day 6 for me! Feeling fantastic! I have noticed some strange dreams though... How about everyone else? How are you feeling?

                                Hi Silversage, You are doing so good! Strange dreams? Nah, I haven't noticed any of that because I haven't been able to sleep in weeks. I hope my insomnia goes away soon.
