Today marks six months of sobriety for me. So happy!! I don't keep track of days as I try to "live in the moment" (or something like that -- difficult for me to explain), but I dang well know that today is six months, and I am nearly overcome with gratitude to All Nesters for loving and supporting me every wobbly step of the way.

I'm going to hit the shower, feed my adorable dogs, and then will be back.

Dear NN Starf,

Thank you so very much for this lovely spinning globe!! I happen to be fascinated with globes. Hubs, knowing my love of globes, gave me the gift of a rather large and fancy globe shortly after we were married. I used to spend a ridiculous amount of time studying and admiring it. Then came alcohol with its all-consuming power. For five years my globe simply gathered dust. Since being sober I am once again so very interested in the globe!! I can easily spend an hour at a time just turning it slowly and thinking about our world. And it's not that I like to travel. I am happiest when home. But... as I say, I find a globe to be so very interesting. And now I am the happy recipient of two globes!! I shall cherish this spinning globe just as I do my 30-Day-Hat. Life without alcohol is incomparable to being a drunk. I am free!! I am dancing!! I am blessed!!
