As the founder of the Roll Call, I prefer we recognize credit for the first day one begins the quit journey. It's the day we made the choice to take back our lives. When I come here and commit to that Day 1, I have publicly communicated to the group that I am on my way and am less likely to get to the end of the day and blow off the commitment because no one really knows I've made the commitment in the first place.
In my humble opinion, we obviously should always be working towards that bigger number, but especially early on. For example, the thought of my logging Day 2 tomorrow vs. 3 is spirit crushing. Can't do it. You guys can do what you want, but this is my two cents if someone thinks there's an "off by one error" in my post.
Keep posting to Roll Call. I can't believe how well you're all doing with it! Congratulations.
