Hi, I'm new.

Just found this website last night and today went and bought l-glutamine and kudzu. Very hopeful and excited. I know it takes more than just pills to get sober, but like many, I've tried and failed so many other options. Also started baclofen (which i tried before
as a monotherapy but failed) and will start topamax soon. I'm so glad that there's potentially new options!!!! Thank you, MYO!!!

Hi Alcoholic,
Welcome! I'm new, too. I'm only on day 6. I had two years at one point, but wasn't able to hold on to my sobriety. It's been a terrible struggle ever since. I just recently discovered MWO, too. Spent hours just reading and reading, before getting the courage to sign up and post. So many wonderful and supportive people here. So many good tips with regard to meds, vitamins and supplements. I love how you are just taking this 1 hour or minute at a time. There is so much freedom available in sober living that I NEVER had in the later years of my drinking - when I was a prisoner to my constant need to drink. You have much to look forward to - it's well worth it to just hang in there and do whatever it takes to get through these early hours of AFness.
